Welcome to the latest edition of SAP Solution View, our quarterly SAP bulletin.
Following SAP’s eventful 2009, there is a new confidence in the air following the highly significant changes at the top of the organisation, which saw a return to the co-CEO model, in the shape of Bill McDermott and Jim Hagemann Snabe, under the overall guidance of Hasso Plattner as chairman. The company is clearly back on track, with a welcome re-focus on technology and business innovation driving it forward.
At Sapphire recently, topics such as the "on premise, on demand, on device" deployment options, “in-memory database” and cloud computing made the headlines, but important though the technology is, this underpins the real value of SAP which, of course, is its enablement of business innovation through the deployment of world-class solutions. And helping our clients to maximise the value of SAP is what Atos Origin is all about.
Our HCM Client Briefing event in May brought together clients, SAP, third party providers and our own experts to show how SAP HCM solutions can revolutionise an organisation’s ability to make the most from its most important asset: its people. This forms the theme of this issue of SAP Solution View, which I hope you enjoy, and I look forward to your comments and views.
Best wishes
