Payments in Transport:
Worldline plays a prominent role in the complex process of rail ticket issue, payment processing and apportioning revenue across all UK Train Companies. We provide market-leading payment solutions within the station arena, in the on-board train environment through our market leading Avantix mobile ticketing solution as well as online through our Train Company partners and our own redspottedhanky.com. We are now working with Transport for Greater Manchester to develop and deliver the UK’s first end to end Smart solution where payments and Journey Management are joined together through smartcards, phones and contactless cards.

Worldline plays a prominent role in the complex process of Journey Management in rail where our solutions plan and deliver the majority of the UK Train Timetable, provide real time information across many stations and provide B2B services to Train Companies which improve the management of their people logistics as well as trains.
Worldline has a growing portfolio in the UK and has been busy developing the next generation of account card ‘Merchant Network’. This multi-sided market allows for spend across several merchants including hotels, fuel, trains and automotive repairs, meeting all the needs of the business traveler and the merchants that serve them.
