To ensure that we can always match the right person for the job, we encourage all of our people to develop their skills and talents to their full potential. We offer a comprehensive training programme ranging from technical training to customer-facing skills, project management and leadership development. We annually review opportunities for people to further their careers and to move within the organisation. We also offer development opportunities and e-Learning through the Atos University and via our Global Organisational Leadership Development (GOLD) programme. 

Atos University

 

The Atos University (AOU) is a virtual learning centre that brings together all our training and development resources in one place. It covers a broad spectrum of topics, including specialised areas on leadership, commercial and functional education and development opportunities. As a global resources centre, it offers you advice, helps you plan next steps and enables you to find the courses and training programmes you need. At the AOU, you take responsibility for your own development with support from line managers and others.  

e-Learning

 

To support our holistic learning strategy, we have introduced a global e-Learning programme which has maximised training accessibility for employees, giving everyone the opportunity to excel within our community. 

GOLD programme

 

Our GOLD programme is an integrated work-based programme that aims to create the next generation of leaders within our business. This prestigious programme brings together people that show the highest potential. GOLD graduates qualify for a British university diploma and are invited to attend the annual GOLD awards ceremony to celebrate their achievement with other students and senior management.

 

The GOLD programme develops leaders in change management. As a participant, you'll be expected to complete a real change project. The programme includes a number of development paths including international networking, mentoring, and business development projects. The Gold programme comprises three phases, centred around the progressive development of leadership capabilities. 

1. GOLD Foundation of Leadership

Aim – You acquire knowledge on the foundations of leadership in an international organisation. Successful graduates will have implemented a valuable project and will qualify for a university Certificate in Management. 

Outline – An experienced-based learning path providing a foundation of practical knowledge and skills in contemporary leadership practice. Includes enhancement of personal leadership and performance within the workplace, with implementation of an agreed assignment plan. 

2. GOLD Essence of Leadership

Aim – You gain a solid grounding in practical leadership skills and in-depth background in contemporary leadership. Successful graduates will have led a large-scale project and will be eligible for a Postgraduate Certificate in Management.

 

Outline – The aims of this learning path are largely focused on skills training. Additionally, you will be expected to enhance personal leadership and performance in the workplace and implement agreed targeted actions. 

3. GOLD Change Leadership

Aim – As well as receiving a solid theoretical course in contemporary leadership, you will lead a high-level international project and be eligible for a Postgraduate Diploma in Management.

 

Outline – The aim of this applied development path for senior managers is to develop the capability to spearhead implementation of key strategic and high-level international change objectives.
