Our IT Systems and Networking Apprenticeship is your opportunity to begin your career in a fast-paced, rapidly growing area of IT. You’ll develop a wide range of technical and practical skills, so you’ll have time to discover your strengths and interests, and the confidence to pursue them as your career progresses.
We teach and assess these skills to an industry standard, while ensuring you can apply them on the job:
- Operating systems
- Server administration
- Customer support

Our scheme offers a unique blend of learning and putting your skills to the test – so you’ll spend your time training, and on the job, cementing your new skills to memory. Within 12-14 months, you’ll be a skilled professional, ready to take on exciting new challenges as your career progresses.

IT Infrastructure Support Apprentice, Telford
In this role you will be part of the Atos Mid-Market Service Delivery team. Working closely with our support personnel you will get experience and exposure to all aspects of delivering IT infrastructure support services to major clients across all areas of our services portfolio. By the end of the apprenticeship programme you will be able to make an informed choice on which area of IT technologies and support specialism you would like to work in to progress your chosen career.
First-Level Support Analyst, Crewe or Livingston
Providing first line technical support to key clients, you'll be learning on-the-job, with a dedicated team of professional support analysts. You‘ll develop a range of technical skills, which you’ll learn to apply together with business knowledge to solve complex problems and create simple, effective solutions. You will use effective communication skills to provide an efficient service to clients and will learn to adapt to a range of challenges in this busy team.
Technical Analyst, Birmingham or Gloucester
You'll provide day-to-day support for the monitoring and management of customers’ ICT (Information and Communication Technology) services, ensuring work is carried out to set timescales and quality standards. You will monitor the performance of ICT components, diagnose and ensure effective resolution of faults and incidents for customers, managing customer enquiries and incident progression. as well as offer advice to customers on the effective use of ICT systems. This is an excellent opportunity to learn new skills across a variety of platforms and different ICT skill areas.
Datacentre Support, Livingston
This role offers you the opportunity to work in a technical environment, supporting IT systems for high- profile customers. You'll develop the technical skills to monitor, operate and support the Data Centre IT systems and infrastructure. This will involve you managing issues through the full lifecycle, from logging and investigating faults, to hands-on work to rectify any issues. You'll also manage direct requests from customers and support internal projects to undertake enhancements to systems and processes.
