Training and Benefits

So what’s in it for you? Unlike many other large businesses, Atos isn’t a hierarchical place to work. We treat graduates just the same as every other member of staff, and we’ll help you learn about the business by giving you the chance to work on many different  projects. As you progress, you’ll find we’ll give you more and more client-facing responsibilities.

Great benefits, and support all the way

25 days holiday plus the ability to buy up to ten more

Season ticket loan

Private healthcare

Pension plan

£5,000 interest free loan

A package of flexible benefits that you can tailor to meet your own requirements

We’ll ensure that you’re able to get the most from your time with us, by supporting you in every way possible. Everyone who joins as a graduate or intern will be line-managed by one person, while other people – like buddies and specific networks – will support you in the placements.

Full training and personal development

Whichever area you join, you’ll receive a thorough induction, together with a personal development plan and appropriate technical and non-technical training to help you succeed.

You’ll also have the chance to shadow another graduate in a different business area and a more senior colleague to help clarify your own career aspirations. You’ll have performance related reviews at 6, 12 and 18 months. At the end of your programme you’ll be invited to a special awards ceremony where graduates receive recognition of their achievements against the company’s core values, judged by the CEO.

Help with professional qualifications

If you’re working for Atos UK Finance, for example, we’ll sponsor you through your qualification with CIMA. And if you’re in Human Resources, we’ll sponsor you through your qualification with CIPD. We’ll build study leave on top of your annual leave entitlement, and we’ll pay for your exam tuition, entry fees and membership for your first attempts at each stage. We’ll also ensure that you receive sufficient mentoring and opportunities to gain relevant experience throughout your scheme. Depending on your role, you might gain ITIL Foundation in Service Management, PRINCE2 Practitioner or other industry-recognised qualifications.

Help with technical qualifications

In technical graduate roles, you’ll receive sponsorship for relevant qualifications, for example: Oracle, CISCO CCNA, ISEB Foundation in Software Testing or Business Analysis, Sun Java Certified Practitioner, or Microsoft.Net.
