Our project managers are the people who plan and organise services for our customers. Projects could be in any area of our business, and you can expect to be working on critical, customer-facing projects from the start. You’ll begin working within our Programme Management Office, supporting experienced project and programme managers and gradually work up towards full management of your own projects.
What will I gain?
As well as valuable multi-project experience, you can also expect a wealth of professional and area-specific training. We will support you through a specially designed programme, to ensure that you achieve your full potential as a project manager or PMO Manager, including professional qualifications and training that’s accredited with the project management professional bodies.
What do I need?
2:1 or above, in any discipline, although you will need to have a good understanding of what project management is all about, gained either through your academic studies or relevant work experience. Typically, you’ll have a business background and be good with figures and be very detail focused. In addition, you’ll need a talent for communicating at all levels to work with a wide range of teams, plus the writing skills to produce excellent reports. You’ll need to be a strong character with plenty of confidence too. Expect to progress into a variety of roles, including account management.
Where will I be based?
Location could initially be anywhere in the UK although London is the norm. You should also be aware that our Project Management community is UK mobile, so flexibility is a must.
