This programme offers a perfect introduction to the technical side of our business. There are no specific rotations on this programme; instead you’ll gain a solid grounding in one particular area. This could be learning all about our hardware, network infrastructure and security – or focusing on sales support, service planning or workplace services. At the same time you’ll be given opportunities to gain experience in other areas. By the end of the programme, you’ll be well on your way to taking up a technical architect or technical consulting role. Or you could transfer your expertise into one of many other careers available across our business.
What will I gain?
There’s a variety of different roles on offer, so training is extensive and will depend on your area of specialisation. But this could include: Cisco CCNA, ITIL Service Management and many other industry-recognised training, refreshers, certificates and qualifications.
What do I need?
2:2 or above in a technical degree. You’ll be comfortable developing a deep technical specialism, which you’ll be able to build on, and around, as your career develops.
Where will I be based?
You’re likely to be based in London, Birmingham, Crewe, Andover, Livingston or Beeston (Nottingham), but you should be flexible enough to move around the UK.
Interns
We offer 12-month placements and summer internships within our Managed Services area. Both offer perfect introductions to the technical side of our business, and are designed to give you a solid grounding in hardware, network infrastructure and tooling. You’re likely to be based in London, Birmingham, Crewe or Beeston (Nottingham), but you should be flexible enough to move around the UK.
When is the application deadline?
The closing date for new applications for this scheme is on 31st May 2012. Please note that we do recruit and review candidates on an on-going basis and may consider candidates for final stage prior to the closing date.
